Given the name Assegai by South African downhill world cup champion Greg Minnaar who wanted to design a tyre that combined the best properties of some of Maxxis' most iconic tread patterns, the DHF, DHR II, Shorty and High Roller. The result is a tyre that can find grip on a wide variety of surfaces while also boasting aggressive braking and fast rolling.
As capable in dust and loam as it is over wet roots and rocks, the Assegai is built to go fast everywhere.
