SeaSucker Naked Flex Mount Black

The naked in Naked Flex Mount means that you don't have to have a special bracket to fit your particular device. With an 11cm vacuum mount that attaches to the back of your tablet, you don't have to worry about finding a new bracket when you upgrade your device every 6 to 9 months as Apple and its competitors strive to have the latest and greatest designs on the market. The other 11cm SeaSucker vacuum mount in this package does what no other tablet mounting system available can do mount virtually anywhere. Do you want it on the countertop while in the kitchen? Your desk? Your coffee table? The sunroof or window in your car? The tray table in front of you on an aeroplane? The side of your hot tub?

What's in the box:

• (2) powerful 60kg pull-strength rated vacuum mounts
• Black or white 18cm Flex Arm
• Zippered travel case

• A: Strong like bull. 11cm vacuum mounts have a rated pull strength of 60kg, pulling straight out from the centre. Pull strength on a shear load, i.e. pulling from the side, will be less. 15cm vacuum mounts are 100kg rated. Putting multiple vacuum mounts on a single product multiplies the maximum holding power.

• A: Theres no set time limit on the vacuum mounts. It depends in part on the surface you attach to, the condition of the vacuum mount, the load you put on it, and other factors. As for surfaces to attach to, vacuum mounts in general were designed to carry big sheets of glass and other solid surface materials, so smoother, flatter surfaces are ideal. Clean surfaces and clean SeaSuckers go a long way to maximising the hold time. In any event, if the vacuum mount begins to lose some vacuum, it will warn you so you can get it back to full power before it comes off. The vacuum pumps plunger will extend from the pump cylinder when it starts to lose power, revealing an orange indicator band. Once you see orange, that's your cue to repump your SeaSucker. For car racks, the simplest thing to do is to check the rack before you get in your vehicle, and check it each time you stop for gas, food, or the bathroom.

• A: Clean off any surface dirt from the mounting surface before attaching your SeaSucker. While youre at it, make sure the sealing edge of the vacuum pad is clean too. You don't have to clean the mounting surface with alcohol wipes, as one overly-enthusiastic customer told us they do, but a quick wipe with a wet paper towel or napkin wouldnt hurt.
