The CCC is a wheelset that can handle rugged off-road terrain, while still performing on paved sections. The alloy gravel-specific rim has a 26mm internal width, and has a 2.8mm offset. It features smaller 0.7mm hooks (compared to most standard 1.1mm hooks) with increased thickness on the hook walls (1.35mm) for better impact protection while running lower pressures.
The "CCC" is a name engrained in American history, as the wooded roads it represents, borrows its moniker from the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC).
