The fastest, lightest, most advanced road wheel Boyd Cycling has ever built, at just 1329g. The 55 Road Disc SL sits at the very top of the Podium Seriesengineered without compromise for riders who demand absolute performance. Every gram, every layer, every detail has been optimized to deliver a wheelset that is brutally fast, incredibly responsive, and built to win.
At the core of the 55mm Road Disc SL, is a next-generation rim built with T1000 aerospace-grade carbon fibre, a material reserved for the most demanding applications. Resulting in massive 140J impact strengthoverbuilt for real-world riding conditions, ultra-light 400g rim weight and a ride quality that feels both precise and unshakably solid.
A subtle but powerful advantage, is the 2.5mm rim offset. This design equalizes spoke tension between drive and non-drive sides, creating a wheel that is stronger under load, more laterally stiff and more responsive when accelerating.
